Juvéderm^® is a hyaluronic-acid-based (HA) dermal filler that works by filling in areas of the face that have lost volume or that appear hollow. Juvéderm has an intermediate and is softer than other HA fillers which means it works better for filling in deep wrinkles and folds. Because it is injected slightly deeper into the skin, Juvéderm can also add structure to the cheekbone area and can also be used for lip augmentation. The results from a Juvéderm injection can be seen immediately after treatment and can last from one to two years.
